Help bring good care within reach

Affordable Behavioral Health is growing. As we build our team in West Point, we are looking for people who believe, the way our founder Terri Phillips, LCSW does, that mental health care should be a right, not a privilege.

Why work here

A practice built around access

Terri founded Affordable Behavioral Health after years of watching people in rural Kentucky go without the care they needed. Sometimes it was the cost. Sometimes the waitlist, the drive to the next town, or the stigma that still lingers in small communities. West Point sits near Fort Knox and serves families across Hardin, Meade, and Bullitt counties, and many of them travel a long way just to see a counselor. We exist to shorten that distance.

As the practice grows, we want clinicians and staff who care about that mission and want to do the work at a human pace. Care stays person-centered and trauma-informed. Caseloads stay reasonable. And support, healing, and growth are meant for the people who work here, not only the people we serve.

  • Care that meets people where they are

Sliding-scale, self-pay-first, and telehealth across Kentucky and Indiana, so cost and distance stop being the reason someone goes without.

  • Supervision that actually happens

Terri is an experienced LCSW clinical supervisor. Interns and pre-licensed clinicians build their hours here with real, regular supervision.

  • A pace you can sustain

Reasonable caseloads and flexible, telehealth-friendly scheduling. Burned-out clinicians cannot help anyone, and we plan accordingly.

  • A voice in a growing practice

Small and early enough that how we work is still taking shape, and your ideas will help shape it.

What we offer

Support for the people who do the supporting

This reflects the kind of workplace we are building as we grow. Specifics are worked out with each person and role.

Real clinical supervision

Structured supervision toward licensure for interns and pre-licensed clinicians, led by an LCSW who takes it seriously.

Flexible scheduling

Full-time, part-time, or contract, with telehealth and hybrid options so your calendar fits your life.

Continuing education

Support for CEUs and professional memberships so you keep growing in the work you care about.

Fair, honest pay

Compensation tied to your credentials and caseload, talked about openly, with no games.

Manageable caseloads

Caseloads set so you can be present with clients and still have a life when you close the laptop.

Room to grow with us

A ground-floor seat at a practice that is just getting started, with real say in where it goes.

Where we're growing

Roles opening as the practice grows

We are early in our journey, so these roles open in stages as we grow. If one sounds like you, reach out now. We would rather meet good people before we are hiring than after.

  • Contract, then growing
  • Hybrid + Telehealth

Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT)

Carry a caseload of individuals and families across the lifespan, with room to practice the way you were trained. Contract to begin with, growing toward employed as the practice does.
